In collaboration with the prisons department, DOM is a stakeholder in the rehabilitation process of prisoners.

 

We offer capacity building to inmates in courses such as Professional Guidance and Counseling, Behavior Change & Communication and conflict management.

 

DOM board members sit on the prison discharge board and have a mandate to  facilitate in the re-integration of inmates from prisons back to their communities and families through home visitations and linkages for employment upon their release.

 

We also offer HIV testing, counseling and open forums covering topics related to health issues for inmates.
